As we come to the end of the year, we tend to look forward to the new year ahead and all the possibilities it may bring. It is also a time, though, to reflect on the year that has passed and the successes we have had.
At Fineline Solutions, we like to look back and see what trends were prevalent and which jobs were standout ones. Each Fineline built-in wardrobe is a customised and special job, but today we would like to showcase a few that caught our attention. So here are the best built-in wardrobes for 2025.
A touch of linen
This year, we saw a lot more clients gravitating towards our melamine boards with a linen texture.
Luca Polenta, Luca Urban and Metro are three popular grey colours with a linen texture that have proved to be very popular with our built-in wardrobes. Layering natural textures in a room adds depth and a sense of cosiness. These two textured boards go a long way in adding a unique and natural element to a bedroom.

Here are some ideas on how to add texture to any room.
Tinted mirror
Since Fineline started in 1984, we have been known as the company that does wardrobes with sliding mirror doors. Although our classic mirror doors are still our most popular product, nowadays we can also add tints to mirrors, such as a dark grey or bronze tint.
Dark grey-tinted mirror doors
Over the last few years, the interior industry has seen a trend towards black finishes in hardware, such as lights, handles, and bathroom faucets.
When it comes to built-in wardrobe designs, it is evident that dark, moody tones are in style. Black and grey are timeless, elegant colours that ooze style and sophistication. Our dark grey tinted mirror doors create this same sophisticated look. These sliding doors can be frameless but look stunning with a black aluminium frame. While being dark, the mirror doors still reflect light, making sure the room doesn’t feel too dramatic and ominous.

Bronze-tinted mirror doors
A bronze tint gives the mirror a warm glow, making a room look warm and cosy. Bronze mirror doors can be frameless but look stunning in either a black or bronze aluminium frame. In addition, the mirror reflects light, brightening up the room even more.

Reeded glass doors
Fineline’s Domalti double-sided doors are very popular and are often used across walk-in wardrobes, en-suite bathrooms and as room dividers in open-plan spaces.
Our Domalti double-sided doors can be finished in a number of different materials, such as mirror, decor glass, and melamine, in either a solid colour or a wood grain finish. However, this year, we have really loved reeded glass for our Domalti sliding doors.
Domalti glass obscures the image behind it, so it creates privacy, but because it is glass, it still allows lots of light through. It works beautifully across walk-in wardrobes or dressing rooms, and it also serves effectively as bathroom doors for en-suite bathrooms where privacy is desired while still allowing light to flow through.

Light-up walk-in wardrobes
Fineline has always created the most stylish and luxurious walk-in wardrobes, but this year we have seen more lights being built into the wardrobe internals. These lights help you find things in an often windowless space. They also add that extra layer of glam and sophistication and will make you feel like a complete celebrity every morning while getting dressed.

Accessory drawers
Talking about extra glam, this year we have introduced accessory drawers. Accessories play an important part in a well-put-together outfit, and therefore, they should be part of your wardrobe.
Accessories can notoriously become a cluttered mess, but with these nifty pull-out accessory drawers, you will always know exactly where all your accessories are, making getting dressed a dream.

Wardrobe door conversions
A wardrobe door conversion may not be as glamorous as a lit-up walk-in wardrobe, but wardrobe door conversions are still some of our favourite jobs, just to see the complete transformation of a room.
An old wardrobe with hinged doors can make any bedroom look outdated. If you are happy with the configuration of your existing built-in wardrobe but are looking for a refreshed look, here is the answer. By simply removing the old hinged doors on your built-in wardrobes and updating them to sliding wardrobe doors, it will immediately make a bedroom look more elegant and stylish. It is a quick and easy bedroom facelift with dramatic effects.
